60 views (as I type this) and not one reply, so guessing not a common issue. Anyway, sorted ;)

    S211 Parktronic Fault

I've just been back to the car, cleaned all sensors and reset the codes. This is interesting, now this is what happens. Put in reverse, all four red leds for front and back, no beep. Put in drive, front works normally. Put in neutral, all four red leds front and back. Still nothing specific...

    S211 Parktronic Fault

Uh oh! Well, for a few weeks, I've had for the front right, the 'too close' warning as if I was near something, but I wasn't. It would come and go. A few days ago, the red led of failure come up. Ok, so one of the front sensors has failed I thought. I've replaced rear ones before, so I've been...

    S211 Satnav

Hello. Before I start looking, does anyone here know why my satnav may not be working? It keeps showing me as off road for some reason. Any pointers appreciated, thanks.

    S211 Xenon Headlight fault

I swapped ballasts over to prove it before buying anything and yes, it's the ballast. I just have a new issue now since taking one of the headlights out is that the left hand lamp washer pops out but doesn't spurt

    S211 Xenon Headlight fault

Ah, yes, I'd overlooked that there's a ballast elsewhere. If the weather is ok tomorrow I'll take a look at that.

    S211 Xenon Headlight fault

My 2003 left hand Xenon has failed. It's not the tube and it's not the ignitor. So something far more serious has happened, but what? Any tips as to where to look? Thanks.

If I stand on a ladder and say, "shall I compare thee to a summers day", is that a high quote? :D

Jeremy Clarkson on Diesel engines in 1991..

I love his posh accent on this video. He's sure ditched that posh refinement for the more straight talker.

S211 Self Levelling Rear Suspension Fault

So I think the air springs could do with being replaced as after putting a few hundred kilos into the car a few weeks ago, its losing air after about three days or so. I think the cheapest replacements which are recommended are the Aerosus bags, but I'm thinking carefully before sinking £350...

    EML - No codes

I managed to dig a bit of the plug out and did just that. Added some flux to make it flow, let's hope it holds out until I can source a replacement plug to splice in.

    EML - No codes

So, I ordered a sensor and I was going to change it now. It wasn't until I went to remove the plug that I've found that a wire had broken off the plug, hence the fault code in the first place. There's not enough to join onto. Hmmmm, how do I get out of this one?

    Fog lights

The fog lights on my wagon have sort of lost the reflective layer inside them. Is there a successful refurbishment spray for inside it if I were to take them apart? Or is replacement best?

    Air con, warm air?

Kwik fit around here are effin' useless. They re-gassed mine and said the air con control unit had failed because they couldn't get it working. I didn't believe them. I took it elsewhere who said the condenser had failed and that there was no gas in it at all, he leak tested it with a green...
