Finally got it all up and running again, thanks to my mate who is a mechanic! All seems good and the SL is now mot'd and in use again with everything seeming to be good with the refurbished strut. Cheers, Gav

Hi everyone, update for you - The strut has eventually returned from Germany after they had it for a month and I had to open a case with ebay to get it sorted! The correspondence was poor and difficult to understand at times, but their English is still better than my German! Not fitted it back...

Replacement pipe ordered from Neil at Grangemouth, I got it wrong it was £219.24 plus £5 delivery but it's still a couple of quid cheaper! and delivered to my door.

Hi, Does anyone know the part number for the pipe from the valve block to the front right ABC strut please? While trying to remove the strut we had to disconnect the female half of the quick release coupling due it being completely siezed. Even on the bench in a vice we could not free it off...
