Had similar happen to me last night on my 2008 e280..parked up on the drive after work..abt 15/20 mins later wife says has ur alarm gone off the hazard lights r flashing..went out unlocked it and locked up abck up,round abt 10pm alarm starts to go off for abt 5/6mins but no lights are flashing...

Well ive just found out that my 2008 eclass isnt very good in the snow..weve had a good covering of snow here in bishop auckland..of course the gritters are nowhere to be seen so the roads were covered(abt 2/3 inches)..fair play mind i got to work,but some of it was sideways and had to be pushed...

Hello..dont know if this helps..mine did similar,garage sed actuator was broken(common fault they sed...replaced it,made no difference so they sed must be the turbo that was goosed...i didnt have much faith in them after that..took it to a turbo specialist nr me and he sed its the swirl flap...

It was the swirl flap motor.oil had seeped on top of it and shorted the circuits of the motor out...bit strange i thought..y did merc put and electrical circuit under a turbo that will eventually leak..[emoji848][emoji848]its a common fault on the 3.0litre V6...

Picked the car up abt 6pm after work...[emoji51]and its fixed[emoji16][emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]no warning lights,kickdown works and it pulls for fun now..ive got my car back[emoji51]just hope i fall in love with it again as its been off the road 6 weeks now(cash flow and working...

I think thats the problem..its a local indie garage the fitted and diagnosed the turbo/actuator..they sed they had done the job before but im not sure[emoji848]ill check the fuses wen i get home on friday..it wud be nice if it was a fuse[emoji15][emoji51]thanks again[emoji106] Sent from my...
