Ok I have had issues with the boot leaking since I have bought the car - I applied the fix recommended by television and it does not leak in the centre sections anymore.
It now drips from the top left of the trunk (passengers side)
I get a drip which will form into a puddle in the boot...
My 2009 ML 350 boot is not fully locking when closing the car boot. This results in being unable to open the boot, without first having to open via the "over ride" switch in the back door.
The fob opens and closes the boor door ok, but sounds like it is having difficulty closing the lock...
Hi
The lock on my boot wont open and has been sticky for sometime. I read on a thread about oiling, using WD40. Does anyone know exactly where I can spray the locks and where NOT to spray :-). There is no 'key lock' on the boot itself and the only way to open the boot seems be to press on the...

Hi,
I want to install a 12v 'cigarette lighter' type socket in the boot of my 2002 E270 W211 saloon. As there is a fuse box already in the boot I thought this would be easy, and someone has already put a feed into slot F14, but when I take a reading from this it is zero when ignition is off...
Hi - I recently took ownership of a 2007 CLS500 - been a great drive until I went to close the boot recently using the boot close button and it only closed half way. Now when I try to open or close the boot it only goes half way.
I noticed that when it opens half way, the lights on the two...
Hi guys,
I cannot open the boot/trunk on my late 2003 C200 Coupe. Every time I try to open it by hand, there seems to be no response and I can't remember whether it is supposed to make some electric whirring noise or not when you use the handle. Assuming it is supposed to make this noise...
I have just bought a nice L plate '94 124 24v E300 diesel estate. :D
Lots of history and engine plus interior and electrics all good. Unfortunately the dreaded leaky rear end has meant some good size rust holes in the rear, under the locking mechanism...
Beyond custom...
This morning my boot lock failed. Chucked something in the boot, went to the shops, then the boot wouldn't open when I got there. At first, I could hear the whirring of the servo (or whatever) when I pulled the internal release switch, and also if I pressed the external boot button with all four...
I was wondering if anyone else had a rust hole like this one, in the corner of their boot floor on a W202.
It is in the corner under the rear light, beneath the battery tray. It isn't caused by spilled acid as there has never been any, and the battery tray is pristine. I made the hole...

The boot won't open on my w203 2001 C220. Is there anyone who can help me assess what's going on?
Yesterday I went to open the boot, using the handle on the boot in the usual way. The usual whirring sound happened (sounds like an electric motor) but the click that usually follows didn't...

Hi all
Got a problem with my dads 2003 R230 SL55, basically we cannot get the boot open.
I know the PSE pump has failed as the central locking does not work.
I've tried using the key to unlock the boot - but the lock seems to dis-engage and not actually unlock the boot.
I thought i...

Hi there
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, new at this and wasn't sure.
Wonder if anyone can advise on a boot cover issue?
When I opened the boot before it seemed the hinges were hydraulic or something, you could let go of the boot cover at any angle and it would not move...
