breather fuel filter pump

Hi, This problem has me worried, I have a C180K SE 2005 saloon and the problem began last week with the idle hunting and shaking badly. I`ve read other posts about replacing the breather hose under the air box and sure enough it was split in 4 places. I let it limp through the weekend...
