w124 1999 query

hi all, just came across an ad for a 1999 e220 ( w124 ) in a local paper for sale. I thought production ended in 1996/7 but sure as gold is soft if I ring about it I will surely end up buying it :):):):) and i could do with staying on the good side of swmbo !!! tia brendan
