It's an 05 s class w220

A grand spent on that and it's worth four or five grand.

You could break it and the parts are worth £1500 all day long

A body shop will buy that , tart it up in their spare time for free and make some money

But what does that car have to do with yours? Its a totally different model, age, and has a completely different value both in parts, resale if fixed and popularity/usefulness.

exactly. if i had the funds, i might consider the 220 myself. i certainly wouldnt consider a 140 with a list of known issues, and id imagine there are many people the same!

Half stripped W220 is worth £500 at most, but damaged W140 with a cough is still only worth £250, or less now scrap has gone down.

FFS! it's like a Norwegian Saga,your car is worth what someone is prepared to offer you for it, you're comparing apples with pears, put up or shut up, move on, if you don't like taking £250 for your car, then don't, posting on here every few days isn't going to change the outcome.

Are you suggesting that because this ****box is up for a grand and a half that your unfortunate car is worth more than you keep getting offered ?

You would do better to just move it on , suck it up and get a new ( simple ) car.

Christmas is coming , don't be sad and bitter over the festive season. Phone Mr Scrap and make a new start.

I keep looking at this advert and can't see £1,500 anywhere, apart from this bit: -

GREY, PRICE IS 1500

The rest of it seems to mention £150, or have I gone wrong somewhere?
