It was BlackC55 (indie) who first said that it was a 20 hour job, along with what Brabus was told by his MB dealer but yes the 474 takes longer because of the extra work.

indeed they did, i would be happy to do it for half the hourly rate if doubling the hours

as a side note, i pretty much always quote from ASRA times for these jobs unless i know i can do it in less, but never charge more - even for all the unseen issues such a seized fasteners etc.

Noise Stopped

I must say that, its been 2 years now but never anothe souns, the sound in my tank went away after 6 months, no matter how much fuel is in the tank!

I think the part must have dropped down to the bottom of the tank!
