03 e class w211 auto box jerky gear change

car going for service today but concerned about gear changing 3rd to 4th (jerks) only got this car a number of weeks ago.... would this be down to the fact that gear box needs serviced (fliud change)

Hopefully - but given the year of manufacture get them to check if it has a Valeo radiator and if so get them to do a glycol test.
Doesn't normally manifest itself as a jerky change afaik - but worth checking and if you do have the valeo I'd change it as a precaution.

ive checked the front and from what i can make out is that the radiator is nbher i think well thats what the label is on the small intercooler i think which is located infront of main radiator at the bottom but can see a making on main radiator... build date is 09/03 which im told is when new version was used... thks for taking time to post ur reply i app it... still nervous though.
