06 W221 'S' class 320, rear fog light bulb.

Hi guys rear near side fog light not working, is this just a bulb replacement ? or as always more complicated than that !! and does it involve stripping the car down to every nut & Bolt just for somthing as simple as a faulty bulb. Thanks.

If it's like any other Merc, you do NOT have a near side fog light. Merc thinks we're all to dim to make the difference between 2 rear fogs & 2 brake lights. The bulb that's in there will be a 'back up' for when/if AN Other rear light fails.

As above none on my MB's have had 2 fog lights.
Just wondering if the car was ever an export one. I was in the army in Germany & export models had 2 rear fog light fitted. You then just removed the nearside bulb of which ever country you were in.
