Apologies if an answer for this request has been posted already but unknown to my eyes i cant see it..

Does anyone know or can guide me how to remove the glass from a 08Clc drivers side wing mirror, Ive seen various posts regarding wing mirror glass in which most point to a wire behind the glass for removal but it seems my model doesn't have this mystery wire...

The mirror was hit, breaking the indicator. Ive purchased a replacement casing with inbuilt indicator (£100)...Mercedes require at least another £100 just to fit so any help will be greatly appreciated...:)

Yes any help would be much appreciated....

Fiddling about with the glass today i discovered that it just literally pulls off with a bit of pressure, This then threw up another problem after removing all screws on show the mirror was still none the looser, I'm now wondering if the whole unit needs to be removed for the casing to be changed.

You have to remove the three motor drives to do it, there are three screws holding the motor drive on, 1 at 9 o'clock, 2 at 1 o'clock and 3 at 5 o'clock

Do you have a photo of the mirror? Might be best starting a new thread @Blobcat might be able to help with that.
