107 280sl - fuel filler cap

Hi

may sound a daft question? but my car really smells of fuel from the filler cap - any ideas or just a replacement cap needed?

is a replacement cap vented or sealed?

it also looks suspiciously similar to the oil filler cap. Check the seal to see if it has perished. You might be able to just replacethat as a temporary measure. Put your cigarette out first though.
