107 Car Inspection (London)

I'm viewing a 107 from a private seller and I would like to have it inspected by an expert. The seller is happy to have it inspected but only at his house. Is it possible to do a proper inspection without putting the car on a bridge? Are there any specialists in London that will do a "housecall" rather than inspecting at their garage?

Any insight will be much appreciated!

My temptation would be " leave it"

However, I presume he's going to let you drive it. Why not agree with him to drive it to the nearest MOT testing station and have it put through a test. Not perfect, but at least some way to pointing out the main safety issues .
Arrange to have your mechanic meeting you there.

Thanks Myros. As you say it is not an ideal soulution. I was hoping someone might know a (specialist) mechanic who will inspect onsite
