107 cruise control problems

Hi all. Managed to get the cruise control working again,the earth connection was missing which also explained lack of intermittent wipers which share same plug,so Im told!?. So,new switch/ column stalk fitted and all working however,cruise now runs rough and erratic when engaged . . . . . . can anyone help with curing this? Thanks

It may need reprogramming, check with your dealer or an indie

Thanks,I`ll do that,though is that someting the garage would normally do or should have done when fitting the new switch/control?

no programming on this set up, and not much of a test proceedure also. sorry not much help but i know it can get expensive, either control unit or actuator.
