108D Heater blower motor

Can anyone help out the heater blower motor has started to work intermitantly over the past few days,and today its just stopped have checked out as much as i can but cant find a fault,can anyone give me some ideas,or where I should be checking

Only by taking it out and trying it directly on 12 volt will you know,, the carbon brushes do wear out and most can be replaced
