I have a 190e which had a replacemnt head gasket 12 months ago. The head was also tested and was found not to be cracked and was skimmed and put back on. It all cost me £600. Ten months on, I noticed a slight water leak from the engine a few minutes after parking up, and since then I have oil in the coolant again, does this all suggest the head gasket is gone again? if so I am mightly frustrated!. apart from this it is a clean car with full mercedes service history with 115k on the clock and I am afraid I will have to part with it for next to nothing since I am reluctant to spend £600 again. I live in the woodfor/essex area, does anybody know a good merc mechanic who could sort this out once and for all!
