123 Suspension Noise

Hi All,

I am getting knocking noise when i go over a speed bumb. Its only when i am going at a bit of speed or when i have my 16 stone dad sitting in the passenger seat! Someone mentioned anti roll bar bush etc, but i cant visibly see any worn bushes. The noise is like its hitting the chassis somewhere. Any Ideas?

hi
if your car is an estate check the plastic mountings for the torsion bar attached to the ride height box. these are cheap and easy to replace. is the whole system working properly?

Hi,

No its not an estate. Everything works fine, i am going to replace the shocks in a couple of weeks as they are now gone, but the orginal problem has been there for as long as i can remember.

It really sounds like a bush has gone somewhere causing something to catch the chassis, but i cant find it!
