123 tow bar ?

Hi guys,

I have a 240D W123 and have found a towbar, which is still fitted to an Merc but wondered if it will fit mine ?

It is the model before my W123 and has a fuel tank where my spare wheel sits so can any one tell me if it is worth taking off ? It is free to a good home and I need one to pull a small trailer in the winter to collect fire wood.

Any help is appreciated....cheers Andy

well if its free to a good home then i would get it it may need some modification.im not sure if it will be a straightforward swop the w115/115,s are very similar to the w123,s but if it is free then you wont mind spending a bit to get it fitted.

At a guess I would say it won't fit, but as S/C has said if it's free then you've got nothing to lose, give it a crack!
