I have a new problem on the E300d- when making a right turn my indicator/turn signal switch doesn't always cancel itself when finishing a turn, but turning left is fine.

Any ideas what this could be? New switch time or just cleaning? The only fiddling I've done is this area recently before it started was to replace an instrument cluster bulb.

I know this post is old, but my indicators don't self cancel either (on both sides), unless I make a sharp turn and rotate the wheel further than just for a 90deg turn.

Any ideas anyone?
P.S. I have a 190E (W201), thanks :D

It could be just dirty sticking pawls, I think it is a steering wheel off job to get to it.

I will look it up later for the 124
