My E350cdi saloon has a rather snazzy 19" staggered set up, the ride is ok but wondered if you could fit 16" alloys?...I have read that they will not fit due to the brake size on the 350cdi?

17” should fit, I’d try some with the wheel in the air. I had 17” on my W211 E320 without issue and 16” on my W210 E320.

Ah I see it makes mention of 225/55/16 inside the fuel filler cap...my only concern was you generally only see them on the smaller engine W212's

But Wheel-Size.com seem to think its a go also...

16" won't fit on a E350, or E250. Possibly on a E220 if it has the small front callipers.
I have seen 16" on German E class taxi's, possibly E200?
I have 17" winter & 18" summer wheels, both work well on my E350.

Even if 16s fit they would look totally lost on an E class. :)

Yes it has ‘950’ is the sports package with bodywork and bigger brakes package (I think), suspension remains Avantgarde spe (softer ride and 25mm higher ride height). Can you photo the front callipers and post they will be 4 pot if sport - nice spec by the way you couldn‘t achieve that nowadays all MB offer are packages

Afraid you don't hate them Tony? ;):p
If they are 16s, must admit they are passable, but for me, absolute minimum would be 18s, with 19s being better. :)

You're obviously getting soft in your old age... ;)

I'm fairly confident they will be 17" in the pic I posted - it is a 350 as well

Just pulled the trigger on These just need to find one more now!...am going to miss the look of these staggered 19" wheels and the ride quality really isn't that bad! But driving through the New Forrest last week at night in the rain.... I can't believe my luck that they haven't buckled with the amount of pot holes we hit!
