190 2.0 Car Tax Band

1989 190 2litre

Anyone know the current car tax band for this and the likely changes to it in the future.

Cant find any sites that tell me Co2 emmisions for old cars.

New bands only cover 2001 cars onwards. Just normal inflation increase for your year of car.

As said, 1989 is not covered by CO2 rating. I guess your present tax will be about £185 and it will go up next year by a fiver or so. Even under the Government VED proposals which were put on hold a few weeks ago you would have only risen to £200 max. I think next year your car will turn out to be slightly less than that. I'm reasonably sure of all this 'cos I run a 1985 2.3 rated car and I'm watching this.
