Hi, I've been reading the MB maintenace CD in the hope of solving a problem with my 1988 2.3. According to the disc there should be a sensor in the exhaust system but I can't see one on my car. Is this a US modification or is mine missing?
Cheers.

The one I'm looking at is mounted on the exhaust pipe just in front of the first exhaust box.

Don't think your car will have a cat or lambada sensor at that age, not on a uk spec anyway.
