Just a quick question. I am ordering some new rear disks and just wondering whether the bearings fit into the disk. If so I thought it would be easier to buy some new ones at the same time, rather than trying to re-use the old ones.

Thanks.

as far as i am aware the rear brake discs are separate from where the wheel bearings fit   .

The brake disk has a hole in the middle through which the wheel hub goes, and the bearings are in the hub therefore there is no connection between the two.

Be prepared for some heavy duty disc+drum removal if its corroded onto the axle hub!! Sometimes they will come of easy :D , but you might have to resort to a puller or 5lb hammer tactics :( :( :( The inner hub of the rear disc itself functions as a small drum brake for the handbrake so make sure the handbrake is off befor removing the disc/drum assembly from the axle hub :? . there may also be a small allen screw to remove also. good luck.
