190e 1990 heating problems

hey there,
i have a 1990 190e and when i switch the heater on all i get is cold air, i put it on hot and still i get cold air, this is a nightmare in winter as it is warmer outside than in my car.

i have changed the fuses but still no heat.

any ideas???

The hot cold valve could be stuck, or your water level could be low.are you sure that the water pump is working, if you have only done a short run in this cold weather could be that

The fuses wont give you any heat it is only for operating the fan.
How high does the temp gauge go anything below 80 it will need a new thermostat.
If its not the valve the television is talking about and you temp gauge is up there at around 80 try back flushing the heater matrix to do this remove both heater hoses and put a hose pipe on one end of the heater an flush the heater out.

your heater valve is vacuam operated check vacum line on top and on hwater control
