do a quick check of the automatic transmission fluid...
Mine seam to be abit of a jump from second to third.. most automatic car start from second gear with useing a light throttle.. and first gear with full throttle.. so second gear has alot more wear on it... this is when useing the S -( standard ) mode....

when E (economy) mode is being used...
the car will use second gear even with full throttle..

so I would say most auto's go abit jerky with time,, and this is normal...
it's only when it starts to be noisy with a clucking noise when changing gears or takes too long to change gear,, would i have it looked at,, and think about getting a new automatic transmission...

hope that helps..

jerky box with 190 seems fairly normal. check fluid level, and possibly change atf (including torque converter) and filter in the box. not a difficult job. many people report smoother changes after fluid and filter renewal ... but like the other poster says, time to worry is if the box isn't wanting to change gears at all.
