thanks for the advice in solving my fumes problem a while ago, leaking oil from filler cap was burning on the cyln. head. But now noticed that when i remove oil cap with engine running, oil spurts out everwhere, a friend said its blow back, and thats bad, is he right? awaiting any info ( eyes tightly closed)

The oil cap is very near the timing chain sprocket on the 102 engine, which with the cam shaft will cause alot of oil spray while running, i dont thing you have a problem. sounds like good top end lubrication to me.

It would only be a problem if you had compression gases escaping which would be fumes and gases rather than oil.
