First post so here goes....

I'm looking for a supplier fo OEM body panels.

I need a new O/S/F wing for my 1990 190E

I'm going to stear clear of second hand, or the panels on offer fron G&S or Euro, after taking a look at one at the local branch.

Can anyone suggest a source of OEM panels, apart from dealing directly with MB UK?

Andy,

MB will not give me a discount.

I've owned Audis, BMW's Saab etc and without fail have always managed to get 10-15% discount at the parts desk.

Agree that the costs are not that great (£115-£130) but don't like the attitude of the local dealer.

tee hee - first rule when dealing with MB - if you are not happy with 1 dealer then phone another - some will give discount some won't and some are cheaper than others in the first place. According to our local dealer MB set guideline prices - it's up to the individual dealer to charge what they want to within reason.

It could be that if they are not willing to offer a discount they are at the bottom end of the price bracket.

Alternatively get a friend in the trade to ring and see if they will give them discount.
