rememeber when the 190 came out. Definitely carburettor, hence plain 190.
190E ( for "Einspritz, meaning injected) must therefore be an injection model.
Unless Mb have been and gone and been all contrary again.
There was me thinking injection was spelled with an 'E' (enjection).
Just going from memory, I think the carbs were done away with after a few years (87ish?). They brought out a 1.8 for the last few years, but pretty sure that had injection also. I think the 2.3 was always injected.
Hi u got a nice car,i hve a Q abt 190e does ur car have fuel injection???coz i m looking 4 190e 1992 model but the cars i found on ebay they got carburators.
Nope, that's an E. The carb (which I have) engine looks different, with the air intake on the other side, and only came in 2.0. The 1.8 was E only.
And the 2.6 is definetly E as well.
so these cars r not worth it 2 buy??How i m gonna find differecne between injector and carburator in these models,do u have pic of any 190e's engine dat got injector,
Thanx 4 u help.
