190e steering vibration

Hi,

I have a 1991 190E with 83k on it.

When the steering is near or on full right lock, the engine/car/steering wheel vibrate at a low frequency - the frequency rises in line with engine speed.. Its fine on left lock. The power steering fluid level is fine and the belt is fine too.

Any ideas?

I think ive found it! but why>>>

The rod from the steering bix is touching the exhaust pipe - why???

Engine vibration when steering

i had a similar problem on my 84 190e. The problem was overcome by replaceing the engine mounts. hope this helps

I have the same problem on my 114K 190E - solution for me was to not use full right lock...
