190e W201 Heater box problems

Hi,

The air is not switching to windscreen, moves to vents and footwell only

Finally decided to remove the upper centre console,

I can see the cables moving and the lower horizontal bar moving, but to be honest I dont know what I should be looking for!!!

Can anyone help...please
