1963 190D starter

whilst booking in my W210 to have the drop links replaced I noticed at the back of my regular indie a very and I mean very old merc. It turns out that it is a 1963 190D diesel that requires a new starter, as I think I might get a reduced bill for mine if I help out(well you can dream) does any body have any suggestions where to source such a starter. According to my friendly spanner wielder the starter is enormous and bl**dy heavy to boot.

how about from the source, ie: where the car was made ? (germany) i don't know what model you spotted but here in Sweden where I live they are spotted for sale quite often
