1982 W123 240TD fuel and temp gauge issue

Dear all,

This is my first proper post, I just collected the above car and the fuel and temp gauges are not working. Fuel is stuck on about half way, temp is complete dead. Any ideas on what needs to be changed? Voltage regulator perhaps? Have checked the fuses etc.
