1985 190E 2.3-16 What do I have?

Hello, I am a virgin Mercedes owner, I have recently acquired a 1985 190E 2.3-16 Smokey Silver 4 door sedan. I recently went to the auto store for a part and the cashier, who seemed very knowledgable, stated that I have a very rare Mercedes, with only 100 in the US, he called it a 'Cobra'. He asked if it has a spoiler on the trunk, I said yes, then he told me one had recently sold on the web for over $70,000 and that car had over 50,000 miles more than my 78,000 actual miles. Can anyone confirm that my car is rare? Do you need more info? If true I would prefer to sell this one and then buy a new M-B. (maybe 2!) I also have no idea on where to go to appraise, sell etc. I can tell you my car is in very near mint cond. if not mint. And I have all the original manuals. It must be Euro spec for him to say it's that rare in the States, but I don't know about it being a "Cobra" or anything.
If you want more info, you'll find it at www.190revolution.net - the international forum dedicated to the 190 (what you have). Although the 2.3-16 is a highly regarded car - and don't get me wrong, I really, really want one, I don't think it's worth as much as that. Perhaps $10k for a true minter.
In the States there was the 2.3-8, which was the standard released car, the US spec 2.3-16 (dubbed the Cosworth as the Cosworth tuning company helped develop the engine) and a few Euro spec 2.3-16 imported.
Anyway, someone else on here may be more knowledgable than I, but that's all I know concerning the subject.
