Can anybody help
With the vac pipe connected, going from 3rd to 4th I get slip.
With the vac pipe disconnected it works ok but obviously has a very harsh gear change. Anybody any ideas please.
Many thanks

Check the vacuum system for leaks or blockages. The modulator diaphragm may have failed or the modulator needs adjusting

A competent automatic transmission specialist should be able to set the pressures correctly if there are no faults

Time to break out the vacuum gauges and go looking for leaks!
