My 190 auto (2L) starts fine but then seems to 'run out of petrol' after a couple of minutes. I thought it might be the fuel pump so got it towed to my local mechanic. He checked the fuel pump, thought it was fine but is reluctant to spend the time on it to find the problem.
As I am only capable of doing the basics, I am hoping that one of you might be able to recommend a mechanic in the Edinburgh area. Any possible solutions would also be most welcome.
My grandmother bought the car new and it has only done 70K miles so I am hoping to keep it on the road a bit longer.
