Hello again everyone
Has anyone ever changed the springs and shock absorbers on a late W126??
Is it a tough job and does anyone have a diagram for both front and rear for a 1990 300se W126??
Once again many thanks

Spring And Shock Removal.

There is a way to do this without the spring compressor. With the car up on axle stands ( Say Rear First ). Position a trolly jack under the lower spring mount and release all the connections at the wheel side leaving the inner swivel still attached. when all other connections are released gently lower the trolly jack and remove the spring. This will work for any corner of the car.

Err no. Not on the front of a 126, how will you get it back in?? Very dangerous method, those springs can bite.
