1994 E320 coupe throttle control unit

I have now had my car looked at and apparently it is the throttle control unit at fault. It was gunked up has now been cleaned up but the car still idles at about 1300rpm.
Any idea how to get hold of one/does anyone have one?

Do you have a plug and socket in the air flow metering unit,if you do this is a switch that switches over to Idle on the main computer. check the contacts with a meter and the switch should be closed at idle, another way to test is to short the 2 pins on the plug and see if it idles at the correct speed

Does your car have cruise control.If not then I may have one,but an MB part no. would be useful.

Yes it does have cruise control
