1995 Mercedes c220 w202 chassis replace wiring harness

trying to remove wiring harness, in my 95 c220 w202 have it all undone but have two wires running under the intake manifold which i cannot follow, locate or remove. I was going to remove the intake manifold for access, so far i have only removed the fuel rail. At the very back of the intake manifold against the firewall there is a diagram mounted over top of the intake manifold bolts, it is connected by about a 3/8" pipe that runs to the manifold plenum, to remove this and gain access to the manifold bolts I will need the remove the throttle body and linkage first.

Is there an easier way to trace and remove those two hidden wires? Or is what I am doing so far the way to go? So far I have not removed any intake manifold bolts.
