1995 W202 C220 auto electrical and misfire

So I had the dreaded "car die at a robot" experience 2 or 3 weeks back.
Car sputtered and died on me.
Got a rollback to get her back home.

In the meantime the following has transpired:
All new spark plugs and plug leads.
Mechanic has redone two wires in the loom which decided to melt into each other(around 50-90cm worth of wire).
All others are fine.
2 new coil packs(1 decided to melt itself).

Now that we all caught up on the fun, she still had a misfire on 1 cylinder(not sure which one as of yet as it got dark on us).

Any help or input from someone who has experienced the same issue with their C220 auto?

And yes, I am considering selling her after this as she is getting quite costly to maintain each year with bigger and bigger issues arising, as she is a daily driver.

Yes, I absolutely love the old girl but due to downgrading in jobs in the last 3 years for family reasons, she is not financially viable anymore.
