1997 E200 Rear head retraints and centre stop lamp.

Hello everyone.
. My rear head restraints wont go down by the switch.
My rear centre stop light not working(Bulb is good)
and the boot light does not work either. Bulb replaced also.
Any ideas folks. My central locking not working off key fob or door either.

Hello and welcome, you have a few things to start with.

Every thing points towards the vacuum pump, and the boot lamp my be on this circuit, but I do not know without checking

Some results

Folks.
managed to sort a few of the problems.
1. Rear centre stop light not lighting.
Cause. 2 pins not making proper contact on base of light holder.
Slide the complete unit back and you will see 2 flat pins underneath.
Just pull them a bit away from the unit and this will make them have better contact.

2. Rear head restraints not connected to vacuum pump.Have to work a bit more on this one.
