1998 C240 rust-help please.

Having just picked up a full MB service history C240 Elegance 1998 I notice surface rust on both rear wheelarches esp nearside and just starting on front.What would be the chance of getting it done by MB and how would I go about claiming? Mileage 93K by the way.

I believe you have to own it for 6 months prior to submitting a claim

the rules vary wildly. Some have been done immediately, some refused altogether and others told to wait 6 months. I suspect they like to keep you guessing!
Pop into your dealer and ask.
