The walnut trim that surrounds the electric seat and memory control unit has become de-laminated, and cracked when I tried to glue it. The new unit looks like it `clicks in` I wondered if anyone had any experience of getting the old one out...it seems a tight fit and I wasn`t sure whether you need to unclip from inside the door panel. Any help would be gratefully accepted.

The fittings on the door all come off with the poor panel.

Thanks, Malcolm for your prompt response.
I thought it looked like the door panel had to come off, but thought there may have been another way. I`m picking up the unit in the morning and will `have a look at the door panel` then !
Thanks again.

Don't see it Malcolm, or is it a personal thing, private mailing service or something? No interest to me personally but other members may wish to look it up sometime.

Hello TOM and thank you for your interest in this subject, and it raises several issues and I have opened a new thread.

Regards TOM and thank you.
