1998 SLK 230 radio/cassette

My first post! Be gentle.
Have just acquired a '98 SLK but it has a horrible Pioneer "disco flashing lights" after market radio/cd in it.
If I take it out, will any MB radio/cassette fit in its place?
Do I need any special speaker cable or aerial or power connectors?

Hi,
I will in the next few days have a MB Audio 10 Radio/Cassette unit for sale (provided the security code i have for it is correct for the stereo) it has the Fibre Optic output to run the standard CD Changer.
I will have to also prove that it plays tapes ok, as i have none to try anymore.
