1999 CLK radio antenna

Inhave a 99 CLK 430 with the antenna built into the back window. The a.m. radio reception is poor, especially at night due to U.S. regulations. Is there an aftermarket supplier where I can use a power antenna to improve the reception? How do I finf it? [/b]

I think, I might be wrong, but, as I know, the am is only use a coil inside the raido for reception, the one on the rear windscreen is only for fm, even the all other ariel is only for fm....
