1999 W210 E55 AMG – Brake fluid reservoir replacement / part number?

Hi all,





I’m looking for some help with a brake fluid reservoir on my 1999 E55 AMG (W210).





The reservoir is damaged and needs replaced. It’s the type mounted on the master cylinder with the plastic lugs and screw fixing.





I’m trying to find:

• The correct part number
• Whether the outlet is 12mm or 16mm
• A replacement source (new or good used)

Mercedes don’t seem to supply these anymore, so I’m open to:

• Breakers (I’m in Northern Ireland)
• Aftermarket options
• Compatible parts from other W210 models

I’ve attached photos of the existing reservoir.

Scroll down to Brakes> Brake Booster and your reservoir should be shown along with the Part#.
Quite often there are more than one Part# as parts get superceded, but all listed should fit.

You can then check eBay and breakers for the correct part. There should be no reason why a breaker from mainland UK shouldn't ship to NI.
There are a few reservoirs on eBay that might match your Part#
