Just wanted to thank everyone for their posts. Took delivery a couple of days ago of a '55 silver E280 CDi Estate with black leather and a fair few trimmings, with 65k on the clock and full M-B service history. It's superb - I love the smooth power delivery of the V6 and the general oozing of comfort, power and sophistication. I really do hope that it will prove a reliable family car for years to come. Will let you know...
