Car central locking works fine when parked & out of car.
But when am travelling in car, if I push down drivers door button the locking system goes through the motions of dropping all buttons, only to release all doors again.
Only after some 4-6 times of doing this, does the system stay down & stays locked as it should for the rest of the journey.
This is only a recent peculiarity, and have never encountered this before, even with my previous Mercs.
When driving late at night through the back streets of central London, I have always felt much more secure to have the car locked from the inside to prevent car jackers from opening doors at traffic lights etc.
Can anyone shed some light on what may be causing the locks to reset like this please.
Regards,
Keith.
