2000 C240 Steering electics problems

Hey there guys and girls.

Sorry I'm a bit new too all this forum stuff so excuse me if I make any mistakes!?

I have recently purchased a 2000 (X) C240 which at the moment is a lovely car to drive and ride in. There is one small irritation I have. The steering Wheel controls for the dash display/radio and horn are on a go slow! What I mean by this is that they don't work until the car has been running for about 20 mins and then they work perfectly.

Has anyone experienced this or know if there is a simple solution?
