2001 C230 Digital display probs

Only had the car a couple of days!Still I love it

Anyway set off for work this morning and realized that my digital display wouldn't rotate from the buttons on the wheel and that my MPH was reading in KPH! Radio Vol still rises and falls off the other buttons!! Seems like its re-set or something.. Also I noticed that as I set off my doors locked.

I got to work had a skip through the manual and set the key up and the list of 3 choices popped up Vehicle and so on. I set the bits n bobs to UK language and temp in C and so on but it seems to have made no difference. The display will still not rotate from the buttons..

Any answers?

The KPH in the digital figure is normal, so that both can be displayed, some folk have this changed to MPH.

The door locking is normal

Given that the volume controls work but the scroll ones don't, the buttons on the wheel may have expired. I believe they can be replaced and aren't too expensive.
As for the locking, this can be programmed on or off and may be key dependent (not sure) - so have you switched keys since last time?

Ok sounds good bust buttons.

As for key no.. HAHA that was my first post on getting a 2nd key. I only have one and was having the "Can I buy a key of Ebay" Question answered.

Just seems a bit weird that I wake up drib=ve the car and the doors locked.. I'm fine with that but this is my 5th day of having the car and its not done that before
