A friend of mine may be selling his V reg Obsidian black SL500 - it's mint - FMBSH, panoramic roof, sat nav, heated seats etc. I sold it to him so I know it's a great car!

This car is an R129, which is one of the last of the old shape, and as far as I can recall, never made in obsidian black!!

I correct myself. Apparently they were made in black, though I have never seen one, only in the later shape. Hmm, don't really fancy the idea of a 129 in black methinks, although it looks great on new shape.

One of the best colours to have it in actually :

Designo Mystic Blue is another favourite - though very very rare to see an SL500 - 99% are V6s.

Our Sl320 R129 is Obsidian Black with java Leather and looks stunning. I would have thought black was most desirable??

my sl500 is dark gunmetal mettalic. dont know the correct name for it. shes a 94 model and gorgeous. looked at loads before i found the colour i wanted! only just on 60000 miles, interior immaculate. private plate so who cares its a 94. (and not can bus, normal wiring so less faults)
